O laboratório está equipado com plataformas para cultura de zebrafish (danio rerio) e estudos comportamentais com embriões, larvas, peixes adultos desta espécie; e está integrado a uma rede de laboratórios multiusuarios, que permitem a caracterização estrutural de compostos químicos, a quantificação de espécies químicas, o desenvolvimento de análises bioquímicas e moleculares, com destaque para o estabelecimento de prótocolos para estudos de toxicogenômica, proteômica e metabolômica ambiental.

Second edition of the International Conference on Environmental Bioinorganic Chemistry and Toxicology Research – CEBiTOR 2014 that will be held in Sao Paulo city, Brazil, from November 17th to 19th, 2014. This interdisciplinary meeting will congregate bioinorganic, analytical and environmental chemists, as well as toxicologists, neuroscientists, pharmacologists and other experts dedicated to the study of the flows of chemical species through the environment and living systems. For the 2014 edition, the central theme will be "From basic to translational researches in environmental bioinorganic chemistry".
